On paper, it would be an easy day. But right, at +4,000 m altitude, there are no easy days. On the other hand, at +4,000 m altitude, there are no ordinary days either. Everyday you’re loaded with majestic views and memories. On the program today: Trapecio snow peak, Laguna Suerococha, Raura Mountain Range and Laguna Viconga, an important water reservoir in this region. From the southwest side of the lake, we followed the winding stream along its cascades to the plain green meadow, searching for our well-deserved retreat: the Viconga hot spring. Pure delight in the middle of a stunning landscape. The weather wasn’t that great, but for this time, we didn’t even care.
